My name is Regina Coleman and I am so excited to be the Principal of Oakland Mills Middle School! I have been an educator in the Howard County Public School System since 1992 and I have been a part of the Oakland Mills Middle school family since 2005. I truly enjoy being an instructional leader at Oakland Mills Middle school spending time in classrooms with students and teachers. I have experience at the middle school and elementary school levels as a reading teacher. I am a graduate of Oakland Mills High School and Morgan State University. I am a long time resident of the Oakland Mills Community and both of my sons are Oakland Mills High School graduates. My goals as an administrator is to provide a safe space for students and community and to ensure that rigorous and engaging learning experiences are taking place in our building. The best part of my job is building relationships with staff, students, and families and positively affect the community I work in!

Eugene Rose

My name is Eugene Rose. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, my wife and I are the proud parents of two amazing daughters. I have been in education for over 25 years. I received my Undergraduate Degree from Temple University in Secondary Education and Mathematics and my Masters in Education from the College of Notre Dame in the area of Administration. This is my 18th year in the Howard County Public School System. I began my HCPSS career as a High School mathematics teacher at Wilde Lake High School in 2004. I have taught all levels of mathematics from Math 6 to Calculus, including Pre-Calculus, and Calculus at Howard Community College. In addition to teaching, I have been the lead Administrator for the Black Student Achievement Program for the last 16 years. Most recently, I was the Leadership Intern working with 7th grade and the Administrator staff at Lake Elkhorn Middle School. I love working with students to overcome barriers to meet with personal success. I am excited to begin my Assistant Principal experience and becoming part of the OMMS community.

Margaret Stavish

I am Margaret Stavish and this is my sixth year at Oakland Mills Middle School. I received my Bachelors of Science from Mount St. Mary’s in the area of Elementary Education and Special Education and my Masters of Education from Johns Hopkins University in the area of School Administration. My professional journey began in the Howard County Public School System in 2008 as a special educator at Mount View Middle School. During my 6 years at Mount View Middle School, I co-taught Math, English, and Academic Life Skills. In 2014, I became the Special Education Instructional Team Leader at Patuxent Valley Middle School. As Special Education ITL, I managed the instructional programs for all special education students and supported staff to provide the best education for students. Following my role as Special Education ITL, I became the Leadership Intern at Patuxent Valley Middle School for the 2017-2018 school year. In my last few years at OMMS, I have enjoyed becoming part of the OM family, getting to know the students and ensuring their success. Since being at Oakland Mills Middle School, my husband and I have welcomed our son, Louis, and daughter, Maisey, to the family. We enjoy spending time with our families, heading to the beach and playing games. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
