Virtual MATH MAP Testing

Tue, 09/22/2020 - 11:31am

On Wednesday, October 14th, students will be taking Math MAP.  Students have the option to attend one of the testing sessions scheduled for 9:00am-11:00am and 1:00pm-3:00pm.  If your student is enrolled in Algebra I or Geometry during the 20-21 school year, then they are exempt from taking the Math MAP assessment.  A Google Meet Code for Math MAP will be posted on student’s first period Canvas Calendar by the close of business Monday, 10/12.  If a student is in a small group or exempt from the test, then they received a Canvas message from Ms. Stavish on Thursday, 10/8, giving them information regarding their Math MAP test.

This visual is a step by step process to taking the MAP test at home and can also be reviewed with your student prior to testing.  If you would like to check-in with your student regarding the readiness of their device, you can do so by going to NWEA Workstation Diagnostic on their device.  Students will not be able to complete this assessment from a device other than a computer (ex. cannot use iPhone or iPad).  If your student encounters a problem with their device when they complete the device check, please have them go through this less restrictive process: Middle School Device Check Option #2
