Selecting Online Course Requests
For the 2021-22 school year parents/guardians will make selections for course requests and alternates online for their rising 6th through 8th grade student. It is encouraged that students are involved in selecting the courses that they are interested in taking. Also, families should consider their student's strengths, aptitudes, and interests when assisting them with selecting courses. Please use the following guides, instructions, and videos to assist you with entering course requests and alternates with your student. Instructional videos are available to provide extra information and support. Please utilize this link for 7th and 8th grade students, and this link for rising 6th grade students.
OMMS Course Selection Request Support Sessions
Families of rising 7th and 8th Graders who have questions about how to enter course requests for their students may join Ms. Bunkley and Ms. Scott, School Counselors at OMMS for support. Support sessions will be held on Wednesday, February 10th at 2:00-3:00pm and Friday, February 12th at 10:00-11:00am. To join these meetings families may use the following links:

Important Dates
February 2 - Rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will receive information about course options for their grade level.
February 3 - 15 - Parents will review recommended courses and enter elective course requests and alternates in Synergy for their rising 6th to 8th grade students.
February 3 - June 15 - Parents may complete the online Course Placement Review to request a change of level for a recommended course.
